Miami Material Lift Services

Material lifts protect the effort behind every load.

We take the time to explain how your lift is designed, installed and maintained, so you always know your equipment is safe, reliable and ready when your team needs it.

Built for goods, never for riders

Material lifts and VRCs are designed and rated to carry loads only. Keeping people off the platform, the gates closed and the load under its rated capacity is the first rule of a safe lift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about running a material lift.

A material lift, also called a vertical reciprocating conveyor or VRC, moves goods, carts and pallets between levels in warehouses, restaurants, stores, schools and industrial spaces. It is built and rated for loads, not for passengers.
No. Material lifts and VRCs are designed for goods only. If people need to travel with the load, you need a freight or passenger elevator. We can review your operation and tell you which option fits.
It depends on the type of lift, how many trips it makes and the loads it carries. After the first visit we set a schedule for your lift and explain the reasons behind it.
Yes. Our team maintains and repairs all brands of equipment. Through Brouss Manufacture we can also make spare parts in-house when required.
Often, yes. Controls, gate interlocks, drives and hydraulic components can usually be upgraded without replacing the whole lift. We inspect it first and tell you what is worth upgrading and what can wait.
That every gate closes and latches, the platform and landings are clear, the load is under the capacity on the data plate and evenly placed, and that nobody rides it. Report any new noise or uneven stop right away.
