SECTION 3: HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for various purposes related to providing our services, managing our business relationship with you, improving our operations, and communicating with you. This section explains the specific ways we use your information.

Providing and Managing Services

The primary purpose for which we use your information is to provide the elevator services you have requested. We use your contact information to communicate with you about scheduling service appointments, to notify you when our technicians are en route, and to follow up after service visits. We use information about your equipment to dispatch appropriately skilled technicians and ensure they have the parts and tools needed for your job. We use building access information to ensure our technicians can reach your equipment efficiently. We use your billing information to invoice you for services and process your payments.

Communications

We use your contact information to communicate with you about matters related to our services. This includes service-related communications such as appointment confirmations, technician arrival notifications, service completion updates, and follow-up satisfaction inquiries. It includes administrative communications such as invoices, payment confirmations, contract renewals, and important notices about changes to our services or policies. It includes emergency communications when we need to notify you of urgent situations affecting your equipment.

With your consent, we may also send you marketing communications about our services, promotions, and industry news that may be of interest to you. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.

Improving Our Services and Operations

We use information about how customers interact with us and how our services are delivered to improve our operations. SECTION 4: SMS AND TEXT MESSAGING

BROUSS Elevators offers SMS text messaging as a convenient way to receive service-related communications. This section provides important information about our text messaging program, including how to opt in and opt out.

What Messages You Will Receive

If you opt in to receive text messages from BROUSS Elevators, you may receive messages related to service appointment confirmations and reminders letting you know when a technician visit is scheduled, technician en route notifications letting you know when your technician is on the way to your building, service completion updates letting you know when work has been completed, emergency notifications about urgent situations affecting your elevator equipment, and payment and invoice reminders about outstanding balances or upcoming payments.

These messages are transactional and service-related in nature. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages unless you specifically opt in to receive them separately.

Message Frequency and Costs

The number of text messages you receive depends on your service activity. A building with frequent service calls or emergency situations will receive more messages than a building with only routine monthly maintenance visits. On average, most customers receive between two and ten text messages per month, though this can vary significantly.

Standard message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to text messages you receive from us. These rates depend on your mobile plan and are not charged by BROUSS Elevators. If you have questions about messaging rates, please contact your mobile carrier.

How to Opt In

You can opt in to receive text messages from BROUSS Elevators by providing your mobile phone number and consent when you sign up for services, by checking the appropriate box on our website forms, by texting a designated keyword to our short code when prompted, or by verbally consenting when speaking with our customer service representatives. When you opt in, you are confirming that you are the subscriber to the mobile number provided or that you have authorization from the subscriber to receive text messages at that number.

After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request. You will not receive any further text messages from us unless you opt in again. Please note that opting out of text messages does not affect other types of communications from us, such as phone calls or emails.

In such event, we will notify you of any change in ownership or control of your personal information and any choices you may have regarding your information.

This information helps us improve our website and identify technical issues. Functionality cookies remember your preferences and choices to provide a more personalized experience. For example, they might remember your name or location so you do not have to enter it each time you visit.

Your Cookie Choices

The process for changing cookie settings varies by browser, but you can typically find instructions in your browser's help menu. Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, some features of our website may not function properly.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers have a Do Not Track feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that they not track the user. At this time, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals, and our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
